i mean you’ve got to lean into yourself

i mean: lean your back on the wall that you built

i don’t mean turn your back on it

i mean, it’s yours, after-all,

you just didn’t know it then, inside looking out,

but now you’re outside looking in

and you built and lived inside of it

until the great wide world was too big an invitation

what i mean is you’ve got to remember that for all

the bricks you laid on that foundation

there are such infinite ways

they won’t be wasted

if you can just put them behind you
